October 2014 The Government of the Bahamas clarified their position on condo fees/assessments stating that these fees in excess of $100,000.00 per year will incur a VAT charge. So you have never been to a quiet Bahamian “Out Island?” Get the ‘out island experience’ right here on the island of New Providence! Need a quick fix for a growling tummy? Don’t worry, there is always a Peanut Man! And he is usually riding a bike and wearing a tam (a cloth wrapped around their head, or a crocheted hat, to protect their dreadlocks). Whether it’s in the car park, at the fundraiser, outside a bar, in the bar, at the Fish Fry, the cricket, at the hairdresser or by the stop light, he’s there! Peeeeanuts!
